The Coastal K9 Rescue Society is a student-led organization at STFX, driven by a shared passion for animal welfare and a desire to make a meaningful impact. In collaboration with Coastal K9 Rescue in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, we support the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of dogs across Nova Scotia and beyond.

These dogs often come from situations of neglect, abandonment, or hardship, and the rescue works tirelessly to provide them with safety, care, and a second chance. Our society is proud to stand alongside them, raising awareness and encouraging students to get involved in helping these dogs find the loving homes that they deserve.
