    Dog Walker

    Stop by our shelter any day between 11 AM and 6 PM and take one of our dogs for a walk! It’s a simple, rewarding way to make a difference — no commitment, no sign-up, just show up and share some love.

    Daily walks help our dogs stay happy, healthy, and socialized while they wait for their forever homes. Whether you have 20 minutes or an afternoon to spare, your time truly matters.

    Dog Washer

    We are always looking for volunteers to help take our dogs to Pet Valu Antigonish for a free bath! It’s a fun and easy way to get involved without a big time commitment.

    The dogs love the extra attention, and keeping them clean helps them look and feel their best while waiting for their forever homes. Just stop by the shelter to learn more or sign up — we’d love your help!

    Dog Transportation

    Help our shelter dogs get where they need to go! We often need volunteers to drive dogs to vet appointments, grooming visits, or meet-and-greets. It’s a simple but incredibly impactful way to support their health and well-being.

    If you have access to a vehicle and a bit of free time, this role is perfect for you. Every safe ride helps our dogs stay on track with their care and brings them one step closer to finding their forever homes.     Dog Photographer

    Help our adoptable dogs put their best paw forward! We’re looking for volunteers who can take clear, engaging photos of our pups to help them shine online and catch the eye of potential adopters.

    Just stop by the shelter during visiting hours, spend a little time with the dogs, and snap some photos that show off their personalities. No long-term commitment — just bring your camera and help our dogs get the attention they deserve!
